Social Network is a series of ten fabricated metal sculptures that magnify connection points of various strips of fabric under glass lenses. The fabric strips emerge from the sides of the metal bezels and have sewn-on objects that connect the ten pieces. I created this piece for a theoretical performance of up to ten people. Each person would hold or wear one of the metal sculptures and attempt to find connections between each other, utilizing the fabric’s connection points. While researching performance and human connection,  I found inspiration from Marina Abromovich and her collaborative works with Ulay, such as Relation in Time.
