This performative video involves popping balloons utilizing machines used on farmed animals. The balloons stand in for the body, skin, or other body parts of farm animals. Before performing these acts, the viewer can hear my breath going into the balloon- giving life to it. This references the idea of empathy, acknowledging that the air that flows through my lungs is the same as the air that flows through theirs.
